John's practice primarily centers on finding cost-effective solutions to issues directly impacting Texas families; including, divorce, child custody, paternity, child support establishment & enforcement, adoptions, and juvenile issues. John’s practice also addresses estate planning, probate matters, and property disputes.
John has helped resolve hundreds of cases involving families in Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Waller Counties.
John is licensed to practice law in Texas and he is a certified mediator. Our office assists clients in both English and Spanish. The initial consultation is always free.

John R. Parkey is a native Texan. He is a proud graduate of St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he studied the classics and earned a degree in liberal arts. He also is an alumnus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where he studied agricultural economics.
After a rewarding career as an analyst with the Indiana State Legislature, John returned to Texas to attend South Texas College of Law in Houston. He has been helping Texas families in Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Waller County since 2009.
